List of Available Authentication Mechanisms

There are slight variations in the way a REST API interacts with a given data source, these variations are accommodated by this connector using multiple authentication mechanisms.

Authentication Description

Basic Authentication

This authentication can be used to validate a credential when you have access to an API Username and Password.

OAuth2

This authentication can be used to validate a credential when your REST API endpoint uses OAuth2.

API Key

This authentication can be used to validate a credential when you have access to an API key.

Token with Refresh Token

This authentication can be used to validate a credential when you have access to an Access token to access the API and a Refresh token to refresh this Access token.

Token with Username

This authentication can be used to validate a credential when you have access to an Access token to access the API and Username & Password to refresh this Access token.

None

This authentication can be used to validate a credential when none of our existing authentication methods and their given parameters satisfy your requirements.
