Setup Guide - Shopify GraphQL

Follow our setup guide to reverse ETL to Shopify GraphQL using DataChannel.

Prerequisites

To connect Shopify GraphQL to DataChannel, you need:

  • An active Shopify(GraphQL) Account with permissions to access data from accounts you’d like to sync. This account needs to be a admin account with delete privileges.

  • You should have created a Shopify store.

Setup instructions

  1. Create a data model and specify the data warehouse from which you want the data for your Shopify GraphQL. If you have not yet added a data warehouse, go to data warehouse tab and add a warehouse.

  2. Authorise DataChannel to connect to your Shopify account using OAuth using the process described here. Before OAuth Authentication process, you’ll first need to enter the details of your Name & Storename using the + icon.

  1. Click on + Data Sync to start adding data syncs to your account.

  2. Details of individual syncs are available here.

  3. Select the required sync fron the list and click Next

  1. Configure the sync by setting the report parameters in the given fields.
