New Connectors

Azure Blob Storage

DataChannel now supports Azure Blob Storage connector. The connector can be accessed from the Data Sources page on the DataChannel Dashboard. Please follow the step-by-step Set up Guide for a smooth integration.

This Azure Blob Storage connector will enable users to stream relevant Azure Blob Storage datasets into a pre-determined warehouse of their choice. Users will be able to start accessing their data by setting up a pipeline. Data acquired using such a pipeline will enable users to diversify their storage options towards a hybrid architecture or mixed cloud solution, while increasing usablity of data by running advanced analytics on it.

Available Pipelines

  1. CSV - Retrieve CSV files/folders (consisting similar structured CSV files). The transfer is enabled irrespective of whether CSV files are compressed or not.

  2. Excel - Retrieve Excel files/folders (consisting similar structured Excel files). The transfer is enabled irrespective of whether Excel files are compressed or not.

  3. JSON - Retrieve JSON files/folders (consisting similar structured JSON files). The transfer is enabled irrespective of whether JSON files are compressed or not.

DataChannel now supports Azure Blob Storage Reverse ETL connector. The connector can be accessed from the Destinations page on the DataChannel Dashboard. Please follow the step-by-step setup guide for a smooth integration.

The Azure Blob Storage Reverse ETL connector enables streaming relevant data from your data warehouse into the Azure Blob Storage platform.

Available Syncs

  1. Export- enables moving data from a user specified datawarehouse to the Azure Blob Storage.

  1. Customers- upload customers' details from your data warehouse to the Shopify platform.

  3. Orders- upload orders' details from your data warehouse to the Shopify platform.

Feature Updates

AWS Redshift

Earlier users were not given the option to edit S3 bucket details (namely S3 Access Key and S3 Secret Key) in an AWS Redshift warehouse. These fields have now been made editable for the users.

Table/View Support in Reverse Syncs

When configuring a reverse sync, users can now decide whether they would like to fetch data from the Data Model or from a Table/ View in a data warehouse. Now each time users configure a new sync, they will be asked how they want to fetch data.

View logs

Users can now access recent pipeline run logs on the 'Number of Runs' page itself. Click on the View Logs button to access the logs of the pipeline run. Please keep in mind that this feature is available for only your recent pipeline runs. For more details, click here
