Feature Updates
LinkedIn Ads V2
In keeping with changes to the API, we have updated the LinkedIn Ads forward connector. For more details, click here. Users can access the upgraded version from the data sources tab in the DataChannel Console.
Credential Validation for Database connectors
Credentials are an essential tool for user authentication. A credential validation mechanism has been embedded in all Database connectors to ensure that only valid and verified credentials can be saved while adding/editing credentials. Using validation can help to ensure that any authentication issues are identified early on and addressed appropriately.
Unicommerce Reverse
In an attempt to make the Unicommerce Reverse connector more robust and business friendly, we now let users to create orders with their own unique order ids by mapping the order id in the data model. The connector can now handle updates of multiple sku’s in the same order id.
BigQuery Service account Authentication flow upgrade
While setting up your BigQuery Warehouse you were earlier required to give a list of granular permissions to the DataChannel service account. Some users found the process cumbersome and long, leading to higher chances of mistakes. However, if users don’t not want to exercise access control at the granular level, we now suggest them to simply add three pre-defined roles: Bigquery Job User, Bigquery Data Editor and Storage Admin to the service account so that all required permissions are covered.
