Setup Guide - Salesforce Commerce Cloud

Follow our setup guide to connect Salesforce Commerce Cloud to DataChannel.

Prerequisites

To connect Salesforce Commerce Cloud to DataChannel, you need:

  • An active Salesforce Commerce Cloud account with permissions to access data from accounts you’d like to sync and decide which breakdowns and fields you’d like to sync

Setup instructions

  1. Select a data destination for your Salesforce Commerce Cloud Data. If you have not yet added a data warehouse, go to data warehouse tab and add a warehouse.

    Data Warehouse once selected cannot be changed.

  2. Authorise DataChannel to connect to your Salesforce Commerce Cloud account using the + icon with your Name, Client ID, Client Secret, Organisation Id, Short Code and Site ID. For more details on obtaining your Client ID and Client Secret refer here. For more details on obtaining your Organisation Id, Short Code and Site ID refer here.

  1. Click on + Data Pipeline to start adding data pipelines to your account.
