Setup Guide - Amazon Vendor Central

Follow our setup guide to connect Amazon Vendor Central to DataChannel.

Prerequisites

To connect Amazon Vendor Central to DataChannel, you need:

  • An active Amazon Vendor Central account with permissions to access data from accounts you’d like to sync and decide which breakdowns and fields you’d like to sync.

  • For Amazon Vendor Central, the user being authenticated on DataChannel should either be an Admin or should have view & edit rights on all permissions. These can be assigned to the user through you organisation’s Amazon developer account admin by navigating to Settings → User Permissions. You can read more about managing user permissions here. Setup instructions

  1. Select a data destination for your Amazon Vendor Central data. If you have not yet added a data warehouse, go to data warehouse tab and add a warehouse.

    Data Warehouse once selected cannot be changed.
  2. Authorise DataChannel to connect to your Amazon Vendor Central account using OAuth using the process described here.

  3. Click on + Data Pipeline to start adding data pipelines to your account.

  4. Details of individual objects and reports are available here.

  5. Select the required pipeline fron the list and click Next

  6. Configure the pipeline by setting the report parameters in the given fields.
