Setup Guide - Google Ads

Follow our setup guide to connect Google Ads data to DataChannel.

Prerequisites

To connect Google Ads to DataChannel, you need:

  • An active Google Ads account with permissions to access data from accounts you’d like to sync. This account needs to be a Manager account (former MCC - My Client Center). You can read more about a Manager account’s access levels on Google Ads’s website.

  • Decide which breakdowns and fields you’d like to sync

Setup instructions

  1. Select a data destination for your Google Ads Data. If you have not yet added a data warehouse, go to data warehouse tab and add a warehouse.

    Data Warehouse once selected cannot be changed.
  2. Authorise DataChannel to connect to your Google Ads account using OAuth using the process described here. Before OAuth Authentication process, you’ll first need to enter the details of your Name & Manager Account ID using the + icon.

  3. Click on + Data Pipeline to start adding data pipelines to your account.
