Authentication Type - API Key

Authorise DataChannel to connect to your data destination using an API key.

Prerequisites

To use this authentication mechanism you will need an API Key.

Instructions

  1. Give a unique name to your credentials.

  2. Enter the API Key which you are using to access the REST API

  3. Enter parameter name (case sensitive) which will be used to pass the above API Key. Example - Api-Key, API-KEY, api-key, etc.

  4. Specify API Key’s placement location in the API request using the Param Location.

  5. Click Save once you have entered the above details.
