Pre-requisites to Setup : Microsoft SharePoint

In order to pull data from Microsoft SharePoint, you will need to create a Service Principal by granting admin access.

Create the Service Principal by Granting Admin Consent

  1. Log in to Azure Portal with an account that has Global Admin or Application Admin rights.

  2. Navigate to: Azure Active Directory → Enterprise applications.

  3. Search for the app using its App ID (21c35900-ef23-4d5d-8ace-6a99a25a4f53).

    • If you don’t see it listed, it means the service principal doesn’t exist yet.

  4. Go to App registrations → search for the same App ID (21c35900-ef23-4d5d-8ace-6a99a25a4f53).

  5. Once found, open the app → go to API permissions → click Grant admin consent for <Your Organization>.

  6. This will create the service principal in your tenant and assign the necessary permissions.
