Flat File

Use this guide to configure your Flat File Source in Neo. By uploading your CSV files directly, you can start analyzing and syncing your data without needing a database connection.

Getting Started

To connect a Flat File Source to DataChannel, you’ll need:

  • One or more CSV files containing your data

  • File sizes under 10MB per file

Connection Details

Here’s what each field means and how to fill it:

1. Name

A unique identifier for this file source.

This will help you recognize it when managing multiple sources.

Example:

  • flat-file-sales

  • customer-data-upload

  • marketing-csv

2. Upload Your Files

Upload one or more CSV files. These files will be stored securely and processed for querying and analysis in Neo.

Details:

  • Supported file types: .csv

  • Maximum file size: 10MB per file

  • Upload multiple files at once if needed

How It Works

  1. Upload your CSV files using the upload field.

  2. Neo will create corresponding tables for each uploaded file.

  3. These tables can be queried and used like any other connected data source.
